What We Collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address and a securely hashed version of your password. We do not store your password in plain text.

Cookies

We use the following cookies:

• shrewd_token — A secure authentication token that keeps you logged in (expires after 30 days)
• shrewd_email — Remembers your email address so you only need to enter your password next time (expires after 1 year)

We do not use advertising or analytics tracking cookies.

Portfolio Data

Your portfolio holdings and preferences are stored locally on your device using browser local storage. We do not upload, transmit, or store your portfolio data on our servers.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to provide market data:

• Financial Modeling Prep (FMP) — Stock and commodity prices
• CoinGecko — Cryptocurrency prices
• Yahoo Finance — Fallback price data
• SendGrid — Transactional emails (welcome, login codes)

We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Data Retention & Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from Settings > Account > Delete My Account. This permanently removes your email, login history, and all associated data from our servers.

Children's Privacy

Cyberfolio is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
